{"id":1427,"date":"2024-07-02T20:53:20","date_gmt":"2024-07-02T17:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pimarplastik.com\/urun\/ps\/"},"modified":"2025-02-04T02:15:40","modified_gmt":"2025-02-03T23:15:40","slug":"ps","status":"publish","type":"urunler","link":"https:\/\/www.pimarplastik.com\/en\/urun\/ps\/","title":{"rendered":"PS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>PS or polystyrene is a thermoplastic polymer that softens when heated and can be processed into semi-finished products such as films, plates and many finished products.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Polystyrene grades can be divided into two main groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>GPPS &#8211; general purpose polystyrene<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HIPS &#8211; high impact resistant polystyrene<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>GPPS (GPPS, general purpose polystyrene or crystal clear polystyrene) is a fully transparent, delicate, and widely used in food packaging applications and jewelry boxes.<\/p>\n\n<p>HIPS, high impact polystyrene, is polystyrene with butadiene rubber as an impact modifier, which gives good material impact performance but loses transparency.<\/p>\n\n<p>Polystyrene is easy to process and has a pleasant gloss. It is the most preferred material for thermoforming.
